Bit late this. Never mind, I'm getting back into blogging now. So what's been going on in my life over the last month? Aside from the blog posts and work, not a lot. I've been revisiting the video game "Bully" on the Wii. In case you didn't play it, it's basically just GTA set in a school (made by the same developers). Very fun, very entertaining and very underrated. Either way, I like it and I've just finished it again. Probably won't try to collect everything again, since I've already done it once and I only wanted to revisit the story.
Other games I might try and revisit are "Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare" and "Spongebob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom". Top quality games there. I'm sure there are other things I've been up to during the month but nothing comes to mind. I didn't do anything for Halloween and, as a result, probably put on quite a bit of weight from eating candy bought for Trick Or Treaters. I suppose I could tell you a little about the special holidays I celebrate. The last one was on November 1st. I call it "Palloween". Basically, it means Post-Halloween...but I combined it to make it sound official.
These can be celebrated by anyone who doesn't give a sugared toss about all of these fake holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, Easter, etc. Any holiday where sweet/snack companies produce special versions of their products based on the event, e.g. Halloween candy, Valentine's Day chocolates, Easter Eggs, you know the sort. All of these things are on normal price systems until the day after the holiday, then the massive sales begin. If you don't care about Easter or any of those events, you can get a shitload of sweets for a cheap price. That's what I celebrate.
So yeah, I have Palloween, Peaster, Palentine's Day, Pexmas*, Pother's Day, Pather's Day, Ponfire Night...not sure if there are any others but you get the picture. Like I said, any event where they have special food products out that go on sale immediately after the holiday is over. Worth trying out if you're in a food mood. Speaking of Food Mood, I also made a special Burger designed to look like a severed head. Twas epic. I think I did something else that was awesome with food as well. Not sure though, quite a busy month with work and everything.
Anyway, November should be a bit better for me. Several TV shows are on in both England & America and I'm very happy at work. Everything seems to be working out and I have a month to complete my New Year's Resolution. I won't tell you what it is just yet but I will say that I'll be very lucky if I can pull it off. I've thought of my 2012 Resolution and I'll let you know what that is next year. Right, that's this blog post done. I'll be firing out a GH related one in a few mins. Be seeing you.
* Post-Xmas. I was going to call it Pistmas although I already have my own special event with that name...but that is a story for another time.
